Adult Hub

Our Adult Hub is a safe space. Visitors know that they can expect food and drink, quiet or conversation, activities or reflection, on their terms and in a non-judgmental atmosphere.

Alongside this, our trained facilitators and engagement team can offer advice, advocacy and acceptance, if it is required.

We also offer access to the Free Talk Intervention Programme, designed to offer exploration of current mindset and decisions, and an opportunity to make changes, with support, if needed.

Visitors come to us via word of mouth, through recommendations from other services and through our outreach work in Bristol.

What we offer

  • We offer advice about a wide range of challenges, including Universal Credit, housing, homelessness, addiction, the Criminal Justice System, access to healthcare, general finances, the care system and more.

  • If someone requires assistance when approaching services or accessing help, we can act on their behalf or accompany them. We can also arrange health appointments and registration and act as a ‘messaging board’ for partner organisations.

  • We meet people on their terms, so help is identified through conversation, relationship building and recommendations - however, people can also choose to simply spend time in our hub if they are not in the right space to receive help.

  • We can help people to explore ideas for future training and career pathways or simply different choices, helping to set targets and holding people to account.

  • We offer the Free Talk Intervention Programme on a drop-in basis

Opening hours

We are open from 12pm-7pm, Monday to Friday, at our drop-in centre in Kuumba Centre, 20-22 Hepburn Road, Bristol, BS2 8UD.
